Sometimes an idea is presented to artists they just can't pass up, and this happened with Distancing. Distancing is Klack "Weird Al-ing" their track "Discipline" on the coronavirus tip. Originally written and performed at their CD release performance at Crucible in Madison, WI on March 14th, it was intended as a one-off.
However, upon thinking on it they decided to record an official version, with all proceeds going to the staff at Crucible to help offset (even in some small way) their losses with all of America's venues being shut down for the foreseeable future.
This album, like most all Klack albums, is pay what you want, but know that if you're able to toss us a buck or two for the album you'll be helping out the people that help put on our shows, dance nights, and are all around good people. We're not taking a cent on it.
We're all in this together, so please help if you can. If anything we wanted to provide a gesture to let them know we're thinking of them, just as a lot of us are as fans of live and club music around the world.
Thanks.
-Klack

Inspired by something silly said by John Freriks.
Saw Kanga last night in Houston , instantly was entranced by her sound , sucked me into the Kangakult vortex , so glad I got to see her live , should have looked into her sooner as Gary Numan was so supportive of her on the Revolution tour , oh now it’s time to catch up and get further involved Callum Gray
The Italian label Raw Culture is a force to be reckoned with & this album is proof of its powers, packed with subterranean industrial heat. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 29, 2023
It's uncanny just how good Actors is at emulating that Post-Punk synth sound from my younger days.
Each listen just gets better and better. I feel slightly ashamed for not having heard this album until a few short days ago. modestwriggles
